Maybe in a dumb phase. This was not showing well. I love the artwork more than the contents inside unfortunately. Nose was expressive at first and then regressed for 2-3 hours when it came back to life in a way. The palate was fairly ordinary. Definitely a let down.

This is the most intriguing wine I have had with a flavor unlike any Syrah I have ever tasted. Underbrush, mint and menthol, chocolate and a finish lasting for more than 3 minutes!

Just a little pre-wedding festivities. Looking to make Becca a McMahon tomorrow!

My first Sine Qua Non. Not exactly my style, but I'll drink it.

Dark fruit with cocoa nib and a forever long finish.

Dark deep red. Powerful nose, red fruit compote, pepper, roasted bacon fat, with a strong backing of oak. Highly extracted, with surprising good acidity on the palate. Full body, long finish. Firing on all cylinders.

Copious fruit here; however, I think it's pulling back (shutting down). Acid/Tannin are here and with cellar time this will be a truly delicious wine. Worth the wait!
