On the pricier side, but very tasty and well made.

Such a knockout. The best California Pinot Noir I have ever had, hands down.

Red current, orange zest, white pepper, fresh cut grass, graphite. Fine texture and balance.

Explosive fruit on the entry but balanced acidity and good structure. Surprisingly easy to drink in its infancy.

Really excellent, starting to be in a great place. Wonderful nose of roses, cedar, methol, and tastes and medium bodied syrupy/candies cherry and raspberries. Tannins and acidity are in balance. Just starting to show hints of orange around the rim.

Deep dark cherry color moderately translucent. Nose is powerful rich black cherry Pinot. In the mouth rich intense flavors of Pinot. Very reminiscent of a great Pommard except flavors are richer and less tannic. This is like the great Cote des Braine whereas Sonoma Pinot noir is more like Cote des Nuit.

At Mulveney's, Sacramento, with Bill Dritsas , 1/11/17. With pork chop and ding dong for dessert. Also has foie gras with late harvest sémillon and sauvignon blanc. The Rhys punit was served too cold. It was "dumb" at first but gradually opened up as it warmed. Nice fruit, subdued nose. Cherries, licorice, and leather tones.
