Tight, with tannin for days. Not surprising, given the vintage. Hold for 15 years.

Red fruited, tannic, medicinal. Very precise at this point with excellent acidity.

Loved this Barbaresco coming from a Barolo producer. One of the few who can vinify it in barolo becaise of historical roots. Lovely! Gallina cru is the best! #neive #barbaresco #oddero #lamorra 2011 vintage

A pure expression of Nebbiolo grape from a producer that rocked classic 7 generation of winemaking. Woman in wine has never been better ! Oddero Barolo Classico 2010

Great Italian red. Great with antipasto or pizza.

Smooth. Gorgeous Barolo. It has the profile, fruit forward and dry finish. But such a smooth, soft wine from the first glass. With George Flynn and Heather at Lavagna in East Village.

Rusty color and smells like a burgundy acid and tannin with a smokey finish.

Not the most aromatic or giving Nebbiolo, but very tasty nonetheless. Tar on the nose is a bit subdued, with an undercurrent of asphalt and just a tiny bit of delicate flowers floating atop. Potpourri, dried herbs, sassafras, chalk. Fiercely tannic and muscular on the palate, with lots of wood and kirsch dominating the red currant fruity characteristics, with a bit of dried strawberry and eucalyptus. Will integrate better with age.

Needed a bit to breather but very nice after about 30 min...probably would have benefited a little from some more time
