This Champagne come entirely from one parcel and is a also single vintage – in this case though cannot labeled as such because it spends only 24 months on the lees (not requisite 36 for vintage labeling). The parcel sits at the top of the hill where there is less topsoil so the roots of the vines more quickly reach the bedrock of pure limestone. This Champagne is made of 100% Pinot Noir and is fiercely focused with exceptional texture, notes of flint, red fruit and very structured and lively with acidity.
