Guido Porro Vigna Lazzairasco Barolo Nebbiolo 2010

9.014 ratings on Delectable
$51.99

Lazzairasco is one of Porro's two important monopoles within the Lazzarito cru, and boasts 50-year-old vines, S/SW exposure, and the limestone-rich soils that build a wine of towering structure. Richly aromatic red and black fruit with the typical shadings of rose and violet make this a special expression of Serralunga.

Smooth but earthy. As you lift your glass to drink stop right at your lips. There is a scent of olives. Delightful on the tongue dry but soft.

Young but very nice. Evolved beautifully over two hours.Very pure fruit with just the beginnings of tar and earth creeping in. Still tannic on the finish. Will wait at least 2 years to try again.
