François Cazin (Le Petit Chambord) Cuvée Renaissance Moelleux Cour-Cheverny Romorantin 2014

9.14 ratings on Delectable
$20.99

If you never tried the obscure Romorantin variety which Cour-Cheverny is made from then Cazin's special cuvee is the way to start. Rich, floral and exotic with excellent acidity.

Medium to medium plus lemon. Sweet lemon, candied apple, pear, a touch of herbs, maybe parsley? A hint of something chemical, probably not petrol, reminds me of some mineral oil maker up remover. Medium plus acidity, medium plus sugar, medium alcohol. The finish is long and elegant, although it's a bit on the sweet side for me.
