I had higher expectations for this. It was a bit closed and started to show better at the end of the night, but by then I wasn't paying too much attention to things. Stylistically more traditional than the Dard et Ribo and Hervé Souhaut wines. Cornas wildness with precise winemaking. More muscular than the other Rhones and definitely set up to age. A very good wine, but up against tough competition this night.
