Domaine des Huards (Michel Gendrier) Cuvée François 1er Vieilles Vignes Cour-Cheverny Romorantin 2011

9.14 ratings on Delectable
$25.99

This is waxy and exotic Romorantin, a grape originally from Burgundy which only has one small AOC dedicated to it today. There’s a bit of a petrol-y and licorice note on this wine as well.

Blommor, friskt, hög syra. Åt till vit sparris.

Old vine Romorantin. Less fruity than the Romo. Red currants and marzipan. Fuller with apple on the palate and a minerality similar to the Romo. This one has more potential but the Romo at this very moment is the better to enjoy now.
