Dark cherries, cook strawberries, dry cranberries, a touch of soft Asian spice, baking spices and light earthiness.

A gorgeous pure young expression of RSV. Layers of seductive silky deep red fruit. On a purity level there was nothing that could match this bottle on this night. It will surely be a different and certainly more "complex" wine in 10 or 20 years but damn it's beautiful now.

I'm not F'in worthy. This just blew me away. Too young, but has a superb runway ahead of it. Light on its feet. Deftly balanced with light notes of cinnamon, raspberries. Finishes complex, and with polished tannins. Set this aside for another 5 years.

A friend invited me to dinner saying he needed "help opening some bottles we've been sitting on." It's great to be a wine lover sometimes!
