Château Thivin Côte de Brouilly Gamay 2013

8.963 ratings on Delectable
$25.99

The Cote de Brouilly from Thivin is from a parcel with 50-year-old vines grown on a sloping vineyard site rich in volcanic minerals. The wine is aged in foudre for 6 months before bottling, lending the wine some more darkness, weight, and power than the regular Brouilly.

Orange peel, rhubarb, cranberry and watermelon Jolly Rancher. Bouncy & youthful, but on the more serious side.

Super sweet fruit on the nose, red licorice rope. Dry, jammy.

Consistently one of the Brouillys that I will always love. This one was no exception - pretty and a bit slutty. So good.
