Danielle Meunier is the woman who has been making the wine here for 45 years, and she knows what she's doing. Her grapes come from some of the best sites in St. Emilion, including across from Cheval Blanc. Great stuff.

This is awesome! Cab Franc, Merlot and Cab. Pop and pour. Smooth, balanced and I dare you to drink just one. This is like potato chips. Basically the wine you would make for yourself. I need a case. SS

The 2012 Haut-Ségottes makes a strong impression. An exuberant yet mid-weight wine, the 2012 possesses striking aromatics, no hard edges and enough depth to drink well for at least a handful of years. This is a gorgeous, under the radar Saint-Emilion that delivers the goods. Hubert de Boüard is the consulting winemaker. (Antonio Galloni, Vinous)

Ahh...St. Emilion...what else to say? Lasting tannins. Sumptuous nose. Soft bramble, herbs, dirt, and hints of barnyard. Delicious! I wish I had more to serve as my good ole standby.

A superb Bordeaux blend of faded bramble, leather, spice, and everything nice that finished with tannins lasting well beyond reason. Wished I'd been eating prime rib, but the pairing with onion chicken faired well. An overall delightful experience.

Not my kind of juice, but I see the point. Sweet on the front, bitter at the end.
