2009: lovely as ever. All classic ripe Cab Sauv, blackcurrant, cassis, and well integrated age and oak; meaty, leather, cedar, tobacco and lovely vibrant graphite pencil note. Becoming more resolved on the palate, good acid but softening tannic structure. Good

Excellent style, open and opulent. Dark blackcurrant, gravelly, graphite, stone, tobacco and ash. Well integrated green pepper and mint. Medium to full, good grainy tannic structure and vibrant acidity to back it up. Really coming into its own. Great length, and very good typicity

Nicely integrated, high quality young St Estephe. I've been a big fan of this region since falling deep in love with a 03 Cos D'Estournel. This takes me back a bit, like a photo of a distant memory. Expressive fruit, the right amount of oak. Like a good, reasonably oaked $50 Napa cab.

Superb nose. Deep, dense, black currant, with very smoky, meaty, leather notes. Good dash of tobacco, cedar and gravelly graphite. Towards full bodied, quite firm unresolved tannin, high acid and big depth. Still got 8-10 years easily. But lovely full style.
