A seriously sippable crisp white from the jet black soils of the island of Lanzarote. Diego is an indigenous variety that is chock full of green apple skin, sea salt & jasmine notes.

First of the variety for me. This is how Lanzarote does Chablis, I guess.

Not quite as good as some of their other offerings, but this still had that unmistakeable Canary Islands minerality.

Didn't get much from this. Like a still Cava.

I got a cheese on the nose. Good body, clean mineral finish. Doesn't linger too much. Light fruit!

A perfect example of how challenging conditions often produce the most charactered wines. From the Canary Island of Lanzarote, the vines are grown in small pits dug into the black #volcanic soil to protect them from the intense Saharan & Atlantic winds. The grape is native to the island, and the #salinity and minerality carry to the glass layered with notes of cumin, bay leaf and faint goat cheese-like tang.
