Delicious! Smooth and lighter than expected. Brambly fruit, juicy berries, sweet oak, pepper, dusty.

Good but far from very good. Fell flat to be honest. Muted fruit, bit hollow, too much oak, short finish. Considering the vineyard and producer this is disappointing.

Inky, concentrated & richly textured. Herbal notes add complexity to the already deep plummy aromatics. Structured & has plenty of cellar potential, but also quite generous at the moment. Just another excellent Bedrock wine.

Definitely take the time to decant and open up the flavors if you're drinking this one soon. We really enjoyed.

@Delectable Wine. This is the 2013 Monte Rosso and it is off the hook. Deep, rich & structured. Absurdly good.

Patience. It's nice now, with some brambly fruit, cherries, raspberry, maybe a little marmalade, even...love everything I've had from Monte Rosso. Will wait 2-3 years, if not more, for next bottle (maybe).

I said what the hell and gave this a try. I wouldn't open another for at least a year. You can taste the great fruit and orange zest but there are some tannins that need to integrate along with some amazing acidity which gives the wine great life. I recorded this and will try again tomorrow, I am sure it will come together in a days time
