For those that find most Priorat a bit too heavy handed, Palacios’ entry level wine hits the spot! Younger vines plus less oak equal a more medium-bodied and chiseled wine that has all the fruit and none of the flab. A perfect wine for BBQ’s and friends.

Lifted aromatics if violets, array of red fruits with a whisper of some dark plums, dried quandong, tarragon and red liquorice. No new oak in sight. Tannins are medium, acid moderate to low. Finish a bit short. Eh, not bad.

Wonderfully balanced, fruity, and spicy. Better after breathing. A great introduction to Priorat wine.

Purple with clear red rim. Star bright and very clear. Light body. Strawberry, raspberry and ripe cherry notes. Great acidity and sweet tannins. Lots of red berry fruit flavors. Although it's high alcohol level is not so perceptible. Medium finish.

Lovely #Priorat #wine. Beautiful red color with medium density. High floral, pink rose, fresh raspberry nose. Smooth consistent heavy raspberry, robust cherry flavors. Moderate tannin. Opened 3/12/17

Garnacha blend with 20 pct Cabernet. Bright, fruity, balanced acidity and ready to drink despite young age.

This is a young and fruity Priorat rich and vibrant, it went very well with tapas . The wine has a deep purple, lots of red and black fruits, a touch of sweet spices and flowers, medium to full body, fruity, round, pleasant acidity, delicious finish. Well made and surprisingly ready do drink. My score 86, drink to 2020.

Another attempt at Spanish wine and it was reasonable. Medium tannins, modest berry on the nose, and a medium finish. Not extraordinary but decent.

Very nice fuller bodied, but not too thick. Kath and Jeff brought it.
