Robert Moncuit works only with Chardonnay in the Grand Cru village of Mesnil. There, his top wines comes from a site made famous by Pierre Peters, Les Chetillons. This is the only other single-vineyard expression from that great site that we know. It tends to be just a little bit more forward and less structured than Peters' example, though it is far more similar than different, and a gorgeous wine for drinking or collecting in the great vintage. Dosage is low, there is no effort to stop the malos, no chaptalization, and no filtration.
