Via Carota Negroni Sbagliato NV (200ml)

$9

USA : NEW YORK Prosecco, Vermouth, Campari BITTERSWEET, ORANGE PEEL, HERBAL, SPARKLING A Negroni Sbagliato swaps the gin for sparkling wine — sbagliato means “mistaken” in Italian, a nod to the happy accident born at a Milan bar in 1972. This 200ml bottle is Via Carota’s take on that accident: Prosecco, vermouth, and Campari, balanced and lively, built for aperitivo hour or an easy pour on the go. Via Carota is a West Village Italian trattoria founded in 2014 by chefs Rita Sodi and Jody Williams — two James Beard nominees whose cocktail program is as considered as the kitchen. Serve well chilled over ice in a large wine glass, or straight from the bottle with an orange slice. PAIRINGS : Prosciutto and Parmigiano salt and fat balance the bittersweet Campari — the Italian aperitivo spread Bruschetta al Pomodoro citrus and herb notes echo the bright tomato and basil Marinated Olives herbal bitterness aligns; the effervescence cleans the palate ABV : 11%
