Leave this wine open for an hour before consuming. On first opening, it is fruity and bubblegum flavored, and far too rustic. But an hour of air smoothes out those extremes to reveal a fruit-forward but enjoyable wine, with a uniqueness that comes from its aging in amphora. Not a great wine but definitely something different, and a good choice with pizza or tacos. I enjoyed it with Beef with Cumin from a Chinese restaurant.
