JAPAN Rice MEDIUM-DRY, BANANA BREAD, MILD SPICE, ROUND, UMAMI Futsu-shu gets a bad reputation — most table sake in the US is aggressively fortified and barely polished. Typhoon is the exception: polished to 70% with minimal alcohol addition, it drinks closer to a junmai than the grade suggests. Works chilled, at room temperature, or warmed.
