Last night we opened the Schramsberg Blanc de Blancs Brut Vintage 2017. Méthode Traditionelle, 100% Chardonnay from Napa Valley Calastoga, CA. On the nose there is lemon, lemon curd, brioche, buttered popcorn and nice minerals. On the palate there is lemon, lemon custard, almonds, apricote, cream and minerality. The wine is medium bodied with a crisp, clean, complex mouthfeel, medium+ to high acidity and a long fresh vibrant citrus mineral finish.
