Scheuermann Gelber Sandstein Pfalz Pinot Noir 2020

GERMANY : PFALZ / RHEINHESSEN  Spätburgunder (Pinot Noir)  LIGHT-BODIED, RED BERRY, RED CURRANT, VIBRANT, SILKY, SOME OAK  Gabriel Scheuerman and his brother Simon took over the family winery at the tender ages of 16 and 19, respectively. They are now producing some of the most expressive, under-the-radar natural wine around. As they say, "We don't make German wine; we make German wine in a Loire style." A wilder, slightly crunchier take on German Spatburnder (Pinot Noir).  FARMING : Biodynamic  Winemaking : Low-intervention / natural; no sulfur added.  Pairing : Chicken Schnitzel
