FRANCE : ALSACE  Pinot Blanc, Pinot Auxerrois MED-BODIED, MELON, LEMON, PEAR, NUTTY, MINERAL, NO OAK Sourced from 37 acres of vineyards in Sigolsheim in the Haut-Rhin (“Upper Rhine”), this Cremant undergoes whole-cluster fermentation in  stainless steel vats and spends (at minimum) 12 months on the lees, thereby producing a fine, soft mousse accompanied by powerful body and fresh, lemony acid.  * Pair With: Sunday Brunch

Actually a blend of 80% Pinot Blanc and 20% Pinot Auxerrois. Nice Cremant d’Alsace from a producer with quite a history. Year and a half to two year process. Light yellow color with green highlights. Fine pearl-like bubbles. Aromas and flavors of green melon, mango, nuts and minerals. Soft mousse and beautiful texture. Powerful body and lemony acidity. Fresh, complex and clean. Great pallet cleanser!
