The description: The Commandeurs Côtes de Provence is the flagship rosé from Domaine Peyrassol and the grapes are picked from the best sites. The grapes are harvested in the cool of the night to preserve the fresh fruity flavours of the wine. After a traditional fermentation in stainless steel vats the wine goes through an extended aging period and we’re gifted a wine of precision with delicate fruit and spice. The opinion: it’s very good, but the mineral undertone is a too strong and thus the wine lacks the balance and finesse you would expect of a wine of this pedigree.
