Paul Beau VS Cognac Grande Champagne NV

$39

A beautiful Cognac made with grapes exclusively from the Grande Champagne region of Cognac and aged an average of 6 years in barrel (as opposed to the 2 and a half years required). The vigneron and distiller practices very little battonage which, along with the longer aging time, produces a very delicate and fresh brandy that has a nice purity of flavor.

Citrus peel nose. Orange / tangerine. Soft and giving on the palate and creamy on the palate. Elegant. No heat on the finish. Probably the best expression of VS Cognac I've tried.
