Medium body, dark straw color, lots of play in each swallow

Tasty box but not as crisp and easy to quaff as some other Grillos from Sicily. A bit heavier on the palatte than I had expected. Could be my fault.

A nicely aromatic, even perfumy, clean, citrusy white that must have some moscato connection, Surprisingly weighty given the 12.5 alc on the tetrapak (1 liter) label. A nice Sicilian adventure at a bargain, for the next picnic in GGP.

Nice and drinkable. A bit funky. Kind of like that taste and smell when you start burping up the wine after you've drunk too much as it comes back up your esophagus as a gastrointestinal cocktail with a splash of stomach acid and bile and a bit of that sandwich you ate earlier. Also, stone fruits, peaches, mango. Strong flavor of pennies and the aroma of loose change in your hand - a scent you will certainly encounter at the cash register as pay for this inexpensive box wine.
