USA : KENTUCKY : LORETTO Maker's Mark takes incredible pride on releasing bourbon that tastes consistent year in and year out. This is not an easy feat to accomplish. The reason they don't release the age of the whiskey is because they are not as concerned about the age but getting the tastes right as something recognizable as Maker's. This can mean that sometimes the juice in the bottle can be up to 6 years old or more. Now to the tasting notes. Because its lack of rye and addition of red winter wheat, Maker's is a lot rounder in texture and the sweet corn notes shine through a lot. The cereal grain aromas are also present due to the inclusion of red winter wheat. There are notes of caramel, vanilla, and green apples on the palate. It is a great introduction bourbon to people not familiar with whiskey.

Toffee and brown sugar, almost candied fruits. Mid-palette to the finish is a bit one dimensional, but a great go-to bourbon.

A staple of the Kentucky Bourbon family. Goes well with and still gives a good character when mixed with colas.
