Production follows the A.O.’s requirements: whole botanical plants macerated directly in Ugni Blanc base wine for weeks, then sweetened with sugar, then fortified with grape spirit. No extracts, no shortcuts.More than fifty Alpine herbs go in. The result sits on the drier end of the sweet vermouth spectrum — firm, herbal, clean-finishing — a Manhattan vermouth that lets the rye lead rather than swamping it.
