So well presented on the nose and palate. Pure grapefruit nose, with tension and bright acidity on the mid-palate. Really nice honied sweetness balanced out pure Sancerre. I don’t detect any wood treatment, which enables the squeaky clean presentation to dominate.

Sometimes a restrained nose is the tighter, more impressive act. Less room for error. If this was a smidge oxidized, it wouldn't be what it is. Which is seriously wonderful Sauvignon Blanc. Voluptuous but very Sancerrian - precise. Nothing to sniff out but the feintest apple, pear, jasmine blossom, and curls of smoke. Big mouth for big concentrated flavors. Clementine, green apple, and peach.
