These vieilles vignes — old vines — are hand-harvested from a parcel near Romanèche-Thorins, worked by Louis Boillot since 2013 using the same methods he and Ghislaine Barthod deploy a few hours north in Chambolle-Musigny.The 2022 vintage delivered reduced yields and concentrated fruit after a hot, dry summer — roughly a third less than average, all in the glass. Sixteen to eighteen months in barrel (10% new oak), no fining, no filtration.
