AUSTRALIA : MOUNT LOFTY RANGES : CLARE VALLEY Riesling LIGHT-BODIED, DRY, LEMON, LIME, GREEN APPLE, HERBAL, FLORAL, SPICE, MINERAL, NO OAK Brothers Damon and Juno Koerner are a terroir-minded duo who seek out the distinct sense of place in their wines by harvesting fruit early and practicing minimal intervention in the winery.  This particular bottling is an outstanding and unique expression of Clare Valley Riesling — zippy and dry, it is dominated by bright citrus fruit and crisp acidity, with some added texture & spice from skin contact and 8 months of lees-ageing. Fermentation occurs in a combination of stainless steel and ceramic amphora for two months. Unfined/unfiltered. ECOLOGY : Organic, Sustainable PAIRING : Tuna Sashimi with Ponzu Sauce
