If you know me, you know I'm a Beaujolais nut. I haven't particularly enjoyed most 15s. They're hot, flabby, muddled, and confused. #NotMyBeaujolais HOWEVER, this is the first 2015 that I've really loved. Just goes to show what wine in the hands of a master can be. Even in a hot vintage like 2015, Foillard really worked some magic. This wine was not lacking in acid. So juicy. Mouth watering. Clean and precise. Happy juice. Smile inducing.

When thirst strikes and you know you won't be let down. Great pre-dinner Vino that's just slightly complex enough.

Awesome nose with boysenberry, light soy sauce, leather, blueberry pie crust. Palate has black fruit, tart cherry, and leather. Medium + tannins which make for a great dry finish. Great balance and restrained fruit. I could get into a lot of trouble with a couple bottles of this on a Friday night. Great QPR at $40 from a local specialty shop.
