California : Napa Valley Chardonnay DRY, MEDIUM-BODIED, DAFFODILS, LEMON, AMPLE ACIDITY, NO OAK I know what you’re thinking, Napa Valley chardonnay equals butter-bomb, right? WRONG! Fragrant citrus, stone fruit, and sweet clover display on the nose, while the palate is fresh, full, and slightly creamy. This no nonsense California white finishes lingeringly long. Enjoy! Organic

A beautiful Chardonnay! Only 15 acres planted with grapes grown in Rutherford (warmer with rich ripe fruit) & Oak Knoll (cooler with fresh acidity in grapes). Pale lemon, with fresh & crisp citrus & stone fruit aromas, no malolactic ferm. Palate shows peach, apple & Asian pear flavors, with lemony & toasty notes, lively acidity & balance with touch of vanilla oak (9 months of French oak aging (25% new & 1-year old, remainder neutral oak). Long finish ending with fruit, spice & biscuit notes. Nice Value!

Really liked this. Balanced, not heavy handed like many Napa chards.

The gentle nose shows pear, mixed melons, lemon curb and hint of whipped cream. The palate is textured and lively, with fresh acidity that’s been rounded by a several years of bottle age. The saline touch on the clean finish is lovely.

Lemon, lime, underripe apple, underripe pear. Not too rich, not overly oaked. Great balance and finish. Low ABV (13.5%) a nice change of pace for this region. At $70 CDN, it is expensive but an excellent choice for special occasion like Christmas dinner which it matched nicely with.

Whoa.... no oak no butter. Another citrus crisp Chardonnay. Thanks Matt (stokes). Put it on the menu.

Lively bright Chardonnay. Perfect for those who want ripe fruit but don’t want it to be overpowered with oak.
