FRANCE : BURGUNDY : BEAUJOLAIS : FLEURIE Gamay Noir

A chalky bindle of smashed raspberries, rhubarb, and astringent bougainvilleas I wouldn't mind running away with. One day. This wine is a bit wound up, and needs more time. C'est la vie. Or perhaps, le vin.

Powerful Gamay. Dark fruit with seemingly low acidity. Texturally, this is silky & tannins are way behind the fruit. This is drinking beautifully with a little chill and some grilled salmon. While these 15's boast a rich character, I wonder if the structure is there to see significant cellar time. Delicious tonight. This producer is quickly becoming a favorite as well.

Bien sur le fruit, impression de croquer dans une canneberge avec un côté minéral bien équilibré! Kampaï!
