Italy: Sicily: Etna DOC Carricante, Catarratto LIGHT-BODIED, YELLOW PEACH, PEAR, WHITE MELON, LEMON ZEST, MINERAL, SALINE, LIVELY ACIDITY, ELEGANT. Graci’s vineyards lie between 600‑1,000 meters above sea level on Mount Etna’s northern slopes, on volcanic soils rich in iron. Many vines are ungrafted (they survived phylloxera thanks to the soil), and winemaking uses indigenous yeasts, whole bunch (slow) pressing, later aging in concrete on lees to preserve purity and minerality.
