A first experience of the Chard following the Pinot. A nice balance of stone fruit and effervescent kettle corn like flavor. Not over the top malolactic, but enough to provide creamy texture.

Apple, peach, apricot. Heavy mineral, big citrus. Complex body and subtle finish. Drinks a lot like a Chablis.

Perfect on the back porch on a sunny day. Easy drinking. You can taste the oak but still crisp and fruit forward. We hadn’t had the chance to try the En Route Chard until now (we are big fans of the En Route Pinot Noir) but definitely impressed. @Carl Fischer found this for a great deal in our favorite Paoli PA wine store!

Drinking the 2014 in late 2016. Golden clear color. Long thick legs. Floral bouquet with hints of oak. Smooth on the tongue. Oaky flavor, light tannins and a very smooth finish. Very nice well balanced Chardonnay.
