Marzipan, dried roses, sweet and sour on the nose, dried plum, red currants and red cherries. Faint oak notes. Sweet spices. Leather, game and tar on the palate and finish. Elevated acidity and tannins, not as hot - medium body. Light ruby.

Red forest fruits, a really strong heatwave and some oak on the nose. The palate is well balanced with a strong acid backbone, some width, some nice soft touch on the sides, almost milky, a kick in mid palate with a bit of a drying effect and a delicious finish with fruits, that soft touch along with these drying tannins and nice roundness to finish up. That's rather well done and gives immediate pleasure. My only regret is the alcohol on the nose. Otherwise, that's very good.
