Not the greatest of tempranillos, could use more of a full, buttery, oaky finish, but certainly a strong middle of the pack contender for tempranillos with more red fruits than one would expect. In other words, well above the unsophisticated, acidic edge you’ll find in poor tempranillos, but not the type that will linger in your mouth and mind, with a robust finish.

Excellent rioja, ignore the wine tears. After a while it tasted like water and I forgot I was drinking wine - I call it the reverse Jesus.

Fairly light bodied, a little heavier than pinot. Not much on the nose, but a dusty smell and dusty finish - patching and tannic. Actually quite pleasant, like drinking a musty book-lined study, lots of fruit peeks out on the pallet, but it's a subtle wine and nothing blows you away. Solid go-to at the same price as some of the market setting Rojas.
