My first experience with the Limnonia grape, which is apparently rare even in Greece. Light bodied with an enticing Pinot Noir like nose. A little simple and less elegant on the palate, but an interesting and easy drinking quaff that went well with grilled lamb.

Oh hell yeah! Lighter compaired to most Greek reds I've had. Beautiful blue and purple fruits, beautiful acidity, supple tannins. Black pepper, bramble, violets minerality.

2011. Fresh and pure. Berry fruit and some spice. Clean and balanced. Well-made.

Nice meaty dark purple fruits with lavender aromatics. With layers of steaky, chia and tar earthiness.

Not precisely sure of the correct Limniona descriptors but this is very good and kept getting better as the night went on. Solid and savoury black fruits.

It's not a bad wine, it just seems too simple. Spicy kick on the palate but fades away quickly. Red fruit and earthy on the nose as well.

Great wine with exquisite dark cherry notes and a nose reminiscent of bbq or charcoal. Great vintage

Cloudy old cherry red color. Really fabulous nose of rasperry cola, licorice, and second tear meaty aromas. Great presence upon entry, with long elegant passage and bountyful wild berries and dark plum flavors. Delicious tartness and acity; all in great balance and desirable finish. 90 pts.
