Interesting find - firm gum line tannins. Prune, earth and cherry. Felt very Italian. Classic.

Brent's description was spot on: traces of Musar, some Brett that blows off quickly, a spot of VA, bruised dark fruit and a woodsy component with acidity for days! Really fun bottle.

A lot like memories of Crete - forward lushness with a distinctly refined classical restraint and purity. Hillside scrubby herbs, olive skin tannin and flesh. Beautiful fruit and slightly charred edge.

Light on the nose, red dark fruit, easy finish, perfect cheese pairing

Wow! Orange. Nose is intense but well balanced, with tobacco, figs, minerality. Tastes older than a 2006. Just a bit of red fruit, but the smooth, long, leathery finish dominates. Very impressive for $35

This was a fascinating wine. Complex with ripe, juicy dark fruit leavened by some herbal notes. Elegant and polished on the attack with a little rusticity on he finish. Combined elements of Burgundy, Piedmont, and even a little Raffault Picasses funkiness. Really really good, and far and away the best wine I've had from Greece.

This is in a very good place right now. Just the right amount of oxidative goodness while still maintaining acid, tannin structure, and tons of bright red and black fruit. The kind of wine that smells so good you almost don't want to drink it. Almost.

Absolutely fantastic with 10 years of age. Very old world, but light. Ash and blackberries! @Ryan Colthorp remember when we had the assyrtiko from the same producer?
