FRANCE : RHONE : S. RHONE : COTES DU RHONE Syrah MEDIUM BODIED, RED/BLACK FRUIT, FRESH, LIVELY, NO OAK Petit Ours Brun means Little Brown Bear and like its namesake it is easygoing and easy to love. This wine is very giving and generous with violet aromas, black cherry, blueberry fruit with a touch of smoky meat notes. It is charming and delicious. ECOLOGY: Biodynamic FOOD PAIRING: Burgers

Strong and young tannins. Red fruit on the nose but evolving black notes once you taste. An honest and clean expression of Rhône Syrah. Slight herbal component, I pick up a benign thyme over anything. Lovely wine for $22. Had the 2013 and can see it improving over the next year or two, possibly more.

The most minty Syrah I've ever had. Good balance though. Refreshing red with subtle depth.

Aromas of agitated warehouse dust and concrete. On the palate tannins dominate the thin remnant of fruit. Finish is lingering freshly shredded cardboard.
