This was an excellent wine. It had both flavors of strawberry cranberry and maybe hints of tobacco and chocolate on the finish. A wonderful texture and was delicious right out of the bottle. This is my first experience with Daou Vineyards and I came away really impressed. They will certainly become a go to for me. The wine went perfectly with the prime ribeye steaks that accompanied it. It was nice to crack open a good bottle like this while my brother Michael was visiting from Northern California.
