FRANCE : BEAUJOLAIS : MORGON — CORCELETTE Gamay Noir MEDIUM-BODIED, DARK CHERRY, IRON, WET STONE, KIRSCH, TAUT ACIDITY, UNFILTERED Daniel Bouland is among the handful of growers who make Morgon feel more like Burgundy than Beaujolais — structured, mineral, and cellarable. Corcelette is a sandy-granite lieu-dit that produces Gamay of unusual depth and grip. Old vines, minimal intervention, bottled without fining or filtration. The 2022 vintage arrived with ripe fruit and the kind of latent tannin that rewards another year in the cellar. PAIRING : Duck confit, lamb, lentil dishes, charcuterie
