CALIFORNIA : REDWOOD VALLEY Chardonnay MEDIUM-BODIED, LEMON VERBENA, PEACH, CRUNCHY, BRIGHT, LEES, FRENCH OAK Despite being relatively new to the scene, Claire Hill (who worked throughout Sonoma, the Santa Cruz Mountains, and with the legendary Éric Texier in the Rhône Valley before launching her own winery in 2016) has already proven herself an incredibly talented and thoughtful winemaker. Her Chardonnay (classically styled in the Burgundian way) comes from dry-farmed vine planted in 1945 by the Lolonis family and has been maintained by them for four generations. This is second oldest Chardonnay plot in California! FARMING : Certified Organic & Dry-Farmed PAIRING : Halibut / Flaky White Fish
