Château Paloumey Haut-Médoc Red Bordeaux Blend 2016

FRANCE : BORDEAUX : HAUT-MÉDOC Cabernet Sauvignon (55%), Merlot (42%), Cabernet Franc (3%) MED-BODIED PLUM, BLACKBERRY, SPICE, MINERAL, EARTH, VANILLA, OAK Rich and polished but made in a riper style and fairly easy-going (as far as Bordeaux goes), Chåteau Paloumey’s Haut-Médoc has deep black fruit with mint, vanilla, and tobacco notes from oak ageing. WINEMAKING : Fermented in stainless steel; aged in French oak barrels for 12 months ECOLOGY / FARMING : Certified organic; gravel-dominated soils in the south of the Médoc; estate-grown & bottled DRINKING WINDOW : Drink now or hold until ~2029 PAIRING : Entrecôte à la Bordelaise (Bordeaux-style steak)
