ITALY : TUSCANY : BOLGHERI Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot  FULL-BODIED, BLACK CURRANT, PLUM, LICORICE, VIOLET, BALSAMIC, OAK A Bordeaux-style blend from the famed Bolgheri DOC on the Tuscan coast. Great acidity with velvety, soft tannins, and a long, persistent finish. Matured for 12 months in one-year-old French barriques and for at least 3 months in bottle.  ECOLOGY : Sustainable  PAIR WITH: Hearty French Chicken Casserole

Dark plum, chocolate, licorice, leather and spice give this open-knit blend (60% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Cabernet Franc and 5% Petit Verdot) a good bit of character in an approachable, easygoing style.
