Spain : Aragon Grenache FULL-BODIED, SILKY TANNINS, SPICE, RED/BLACK FRUIT, MINERAL, NEW OAK This is Grenache on steroids; intense notes of ripe cherry and leather emit from the bouquet setting the tone. The first sip is a burst of blackberry and plum fruit upfront, then woody and vanilla on the back end. Tannins are gently firm, providing support, medium length on finish. Conventional

Tobacco and tea! Not quite as tannic as I’d like but still great.

1,500 reviews on delectable - it’s like the $2 buck Chuck of Spain but three. It drinks quite well for the price. Doughy nose. Dry. Some dark berries.

Velvety red color. On the nose I'm getting vanilla, honey, cherry, chocolate. On first sip, sophisticated and complex. Leathery, spice like allspice and peppercorn. That vanilla and black currant come through. For a grilled or spicy meal, this wine would go lovely with it.
