Spain : Castilla y Leon : Bierzo Mencía MEDIUM-BODIED, FRESH, RED/BLUE FRUITS, MINERAL, NEUTRAL OAK Bright, intense, and silky expression in the style of classic Spanish mencía. The nose gives crushed berry fruit, and mineral. On the palate the wine is lively with blueberry and raspberry notes, and soft lush tannins. Winemaker’s random obsession with bears lends itself to the theme of the labels.
