After a 30 minute decant this wine from Uruguay really opens up. Silky smooth, low tannins, full bodied, dark fruit, nice color. Better than the 2016 I had a few years ago. TGIF!!

Intense purple color with periwinkle highlights. Aromas of black fruit, asphalt and roasted poblano peppers. Pallet is rich with black fruit with hints of dark chocolate, tobacco, eucalyptus and minerals. Rich, bold and a bit rustic. Nicely balanced. Long finish.
