FRANCE : LOIRE VALLEY : ANJOU Cabernet Franc MED-FULL BODIED, BLACK CHERRY, PLUM, PARTIAL NEW OAK, FINE TANNINS The late Anne-Claude Leflaive — famed matriarch of one of Burgundy’s most important domaines — revitalized this Anjou property in 2008 as a project to help biodynamic wine estates across France. This Cab Franc is classic Loire: spicy, mineral-driven, and quite supple, with generous ripe red & black fruit. Wow! ECOLOGY : Biodynamic PAIR WITH : Grilled Lamb, Pork Meatballs

2020. I wanted to try something similar in body to the Pinot Noir, but with different aromas and flavors because my daughter has become interested in trying new pairings. Lighter than the Pinot, and had a brett aroma when first opened that was new and unappealing at first, but when it opened up in the decanter, it was our favorite with the grilled lamb kebab.
