This is the “Jardin de Tru” made of mostly Malbec with Merlot and Syrah. Second time tasting this Valle de Guadalupe blend. More savory than I recall, reads Syrah. Round, smoky, and Mediterranean (olive?) Kind of brooding. Incredibly interesting and worth the exploration. Don’t know how it reads so layered and concentrated as it is at only 11.9% abv. Too expensive, but very cool.

This is the “Jardin de Tru” comprised of 44% Malbec, 22% Merlot, and 24% Syrah. Juicy dark red fruits, green peppercorns, and dry vegetation. Nice balance given the 11.9% abv. Not overly green. First Mexican wine I’ve had and while it’s expensive for what it is ($36) I look forward to watching this producer and region.
